Announcing that after being told pregnancy would not happen "without serious medical intervention", we were indeed pregnant......
A tu-tu and a little sister???
Well, Mary Austin has now been home 10 months! It seems hard tobelieve that she has only been with us for such a short amount oftime! She continues to blossom before our very eyes!
Words are starting to spew from her at an alarming rate! She is our little parrot and we are now having to watch what comes out of our mouth! I really don't want school to tell me that my 17 month old said "shit"during a playground mishap!
One of her favorite things to do is dance! Hence we have signed herup for a "mommy and me" dance class! It starts the first of June and I could not resist the pink leotard with attached tu-tu! She looks so cute and even worse she knows it! When we tried it on her at the dance studio, she squealed with delight and then said "dance" as she twirled around in a circle! Since her daddy and I have NO rythmn what so ever, we assume she got this from her "china mommy".
She also loves to be "outside" like her daddy and is OBSESSED with shoes and purses like her mommy! She will even pitch a fit for her shoes to be on and also enjoys putting on our shoes! Once she has her shoes on she will reach for a purse and head to the door blowing kisses and saying "bye-bye".
And for the most shocking news...Mary Austin will become a big sister at the ripe old age of 21 months! We discovered in late January that I was pregnant. No one was more shocked than me and it took about 10 weeks for me to realize that "yes since I am hanging my head over thetoilet 4 times a day this must be for real! It took until about 20 weeks for me to stop throwing up - not very fun. We are very excited that Mary Austin will now have a little sister - Jane Harris. MaryAustin will say "baby" and point to my stomach but I do not think she really gets it! Her world will certainly be rocked come September! Thankfully, anyone will be able to hold Jane Harris and between both sets of grandparents Mary Austin will not be lacking for attention!
