This evening we met friends in the park for a early dinner picnic. We soon realized that we had our very own "ABC after school special". Remember those? They were always very ethnically diverse but I am not sure they even topped us tonight!
Asian, African-American, Hispanic and Caucasian. I was struck by the difference in the way my girls are being raised today in the South than girls were raised in the 1950s and 60s and if everyone could view the world like an innocent child how much easier it would be for them.
